Magic Door

I have a new tool that I just love and wish my foster mom showed me earlier. She calls it a "doggie door" and I call it the "magic door". It allows me to go outside and inside at my leisure. I can bark at the noisy neighbors and noises that I hear.

I did my morning potty out there on my own!! I am so smart. I have been going in and out all morning doing whatever I want. Who knew this would reduce my "accidents" inside.

It is a nice day outside so I think I will keep this up. Yea me and the "magic door"!!

It wuz a beautiful day today. In the evening when my foster mommy got home from wurk she said she'd take pictures of me so I better pose and look cute. You know that is a lot of work on my part. I tried to do what she asked and she got this one. I thought it was a pretty good job. What do you think?
When everyone goes outside for potty time I go with everyone and do my "good potty" routine because that is what I am expected to do. Today I stayed in the kitchen inside a puppy play pen and didn't have any "potty inside". Yea me!
I'm just proving how smart I am. Who says size matters?

Whatcha wanna know about me?

I am a sprighlty girl who has no idea I am so petite. I'm pretty sure I was born with more Rattitude than the biggest Rat Terrier on earth.

I enjoy playing hard with my foster siblings that are as big as 18lbs and I fit underneath. I run fast like a tiny rabbit both inside and outside. They try to catch me, tee hee. Sometimes they catch me, but I sure give them a run for their dog treats. I could be annoying to older dogs so if I get a fur sibling they will have to understand my puppy antics.

The potty training stuff is coming along good. I know what "go potty" and "let's go outside" means. If I start sniffing around and making myself scarce that is the time I need a reminder to head outside. I know with a regular schedule I can really master this skill and work on it daily. The good thing is due to my size my "accidents" are pretty tiny, too. Woofie, woofie.

I meet all new people with a wiggly body, kisses and soak up all of the attention like a sponge. It is hard to get good pictures of me because I am almost always on the move unless I am crated or napping. I do get crated during the day while my foster parents are at work. I don't mind. I keep quiet and don't have any accidents during that time.

I'm looking for loving person(s) who are terrier savvy, can live in a home or apartment, may or maynot have a fur friend for me to play with (if not fur friend be prepared to play with me yourself), do not have children younger than 8yrs of age and must be dog savvy due to my petite size and finally willing to teach me all the skills a lil fur baby needs to have a great life.

If you think you fit the bill, please apply for me at www.NewRattitude.org. If I am not the one for you I am sure another rattie kid might fit the bill.

I love to play, play and more playin!

Let me Introduce Myself

Hello, I am Teela and I am being fostered by a New Rattitude volunteer in Sugar Hill, GA. I traveled from Louisana to Georgia one day because a breeder decided I wasn't going to sell fast enough. I have no idea what that means, but everyone on the transport would have kept me in a heartbeat and they just met me!!
Anyways, I am pretty full of myself and love to keep busy so I thought a blog about my experiences would help my wonderful furever family find me. (I'm waiting...)
I am a healthy 4-lb, 5 month old girlie who needs a home ready for a very puppish rattie girl who will not get any bigger than 7lbs max. I am always going to be small, but should be treated like a REAL dog!
